Colvex & Co wrap up the year with cracking Christmas show at The Horns
posted: 18/12/2013

Colvex rounded off a spectacular year in festive style with a show to remember on Monday at The Horns, Watford. The band were on fine form and, in addition to romping through some of their best loved numbers, a couple of special guests joined Simon, Gav and Dave onstage for a pair of corking cover versions.

Firstly, old pal Peter Curtis from Wing & A Prayer took the stage to duet on David Bowie's 'Ashes To Ashes' before Waiting For Katherine frontman Andrew Woolford (pictured) took lead vocals for a fitting version of Slade's timeless 'Merry Christmas Everybody'. The full set was:

Last Man Standing/ Hello/ Swimming Babies/ Fear & Loathing/ A Piece Of The Action/ Resolution #1/ Persuasion/ Ashes To Ashes (David Bowie)/ It Could Be You/ She Comes, She Goes/ Just For Me/ Merry Christmas Everybody (Slade)/ Three Guys

Special thanks to Bamboo&Co for providing an excellent supporting set and to all who came along to enjoy a great night.
